Researcher-Professor and Coordinator of the Computer Science Lab of the Department of Computer Science at the Center for Research in Mathematics (Centro de Investigación en Matematicas A.C., CIMAT). Main Interests: Software Engineering Software Quality Software Process  Software Economics Information Technologies Working on Software Process and Software Quality Assurance, PSP, TSP, CMM, metrics.

Coordinator of the Software Engineering Research Group at CIMAT (IngSoft) Coordinator of the Masters in Software Engineering Program at CIMAT (MIS) Coordinator of the Computer Science Laboratory at CIMAT Personal Software ProcessSM (PSPSM) and Team Software ProcessSM (TSPSM) training Software Engineering Institute (SEI) Certified Instructor in PSP and TSP SEI-Certified PSP Developer In charge of the PSP-TSP Transition Partner agreement between CIMAT and SEI  Member of the Special Interest Group in Software Engineering of the Mexican Computer Science Society (SMCC) Promoting the development of the Software Industry in Mexico Teaching in CIMAT's graduate programs Organizing a series of Software Engineering Seminars at CIMAT Founding Member of the Mexican Association for Quality in Software Engineering (Asociación Mexicana para la Calidad en Ingeniería de Software AMCIS)
