Ramon Lopez de Mantaras is Research Professor of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) and Director of the Artificial Intelligence Research Institute of the CSIC.
He is Associate Editor of the AI Journal
and President of the Board of Trustees of IJCAI. He has authored, or
co-authored, over 220 papers and the book "Approximate Reasoning
Models" published in the Ellis orwood Artificial Intelligence Series.
He has been involved in more than 40 research grants since 1983 (15
of which are internationally funded), IP in 25 of them amounting to more
than 7 milion Euros.
