Welcome!As part of the staff at the Centro de Investigación en Matemáticas A.C. (CIMAT), I am working on the development of mathematical models, numerical algorithms, and software for solving problems arising from real applications.CIMAT is one of the 27 Research Centres of the Mexican National Council of Science and Technology (CONACYT), with offices in five different cities troughout Mexico. The Monterrey Office, to which I belong, was formally started in 2007 and is located in Monterrey's Research and Technological Innovation Park (PIIT). My main research areas have been until now influenced by several projects I have been involved in, either as main responsible, or as part of a team. Regarding teaching, I have given courses for undergrads, master, and PhD students at the Universidad Autónoma de Coahuila, the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, the Universidad de Ibagué and the Universität Bremen. |
