Delabu Synth Project v1.0d	-	the readme.txt file
(c)2001 - FAC Productions

Thanks for downloading my synth. It is my first attempt at
realtime DSP coding and I'm liking it so far.

For now, you can download this program from

	http://www.prodigyweb.net.mx/fac/dsp

Until I set up a nice page for it.

Features:

	- 2 Oscillators (sine, saw, pulse, triangle, noise)
	- Resonant Lowpass Filter (with cutoff modulation)
	- 2 Envelopes (besides the main amplifier envelope)
	- 2 LFO's
	- Crossfade and pulsewidth modulation
	- Distortion
	- Up to 8-voice polyphony (if your CPU can handle it)
	- Looped Multisample saving
	- Random Patch Generator

Requirements:

	- Pentium II or equivalent processor (300 Mhz should be fine)
	- 32 Mb. RAM
	- Windows 98 (not tested in 95/ME/NT/2000 yet)
	- Soundcard with DirectSound drivers
	- At least one MIDI IN port

I'm currently working on:

	- Another synth.
	- More patches (contributions are welcome!)

Known issues:

	- Pitch modulation gets out of control! HELP!
	- When saving multisamples, the "Use Envelopes" and "Use LFO's" options
	  have no effect yet.

Hints:

	- If you plan to export looped multisamples, make sure one LFO frequency
is a multiple of the other. Otherwise you'll get VERY LONG samples
