Título: difeomorfismos parcialmente hiperbólicos de 3-variedades: variaciones sobre el tema de la dirección central.

Resumen: un difeomorfismo parcialmente hiperbólico de una 3-variedad define 3 direcciones invariantes en la variedad: la estable y la instable que son únicamente integrables, y la central que continua siendo misteriosa y en gran parte no entendida. Presentaré unos ejemplos, algunos muy clásicos pero tambien otros,  ilustrando el comportamiento sorprendente de la dirección central.

Title: Partially hyperbolic diffeomorphisms of 3-manifolds: variations on the theme of central direction

Abstract:  A partially hyerbolic diffeomorphism of a 3-manifold defines 3 invariant directions on the manifold: the stable and the unstable ones, which are uniquely integrable, and the central direction, which is still mysterious and mostly not understood. I will present some examples, some very classical but also others, illustrating the surprising behavior of the central direction.
