I am a postdoctoral fellow at Centro de Investigación en Matemáticas (CIMAT).
I obtained my PhD at the Faculty of Sciences of Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) under the direction of Fernando Galaz-García and
Óscar Palmas Velasco. I have done postdoctoral stays at the University of California Santa Barbara (UCSB) with Guofang Wei,
at Scuola Internazionale Superiore di Studi Avanzati (SISSA) with Nicola Gigli and at Centro de Ciencias Matemáticas (CCM-UNAM)
with Noé Bárcenas.
I am interested in the relation between curvature and geometry/topology in the smooth and non-smooth settings. The current emphasis of my research is on collapsing theory,
transformation groups and topological and geometric rigidity.
