&lt;h2 id="1-project-description"&gt;1. Project description&lt;/h2&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The project &lt;em&gt;“Unconventional mathematical and computational models for the study and analysis of relevant problems in biology”&lt;/em&gt; aims to develop innovative mathematical approaches to complex biological phenomena that are hard to capture with classical models. It combines tools from dynamical systems theory, non-Archimedean and &lt;em&gt;p&lt;/em&gt;-adic dynamics, algebraic geometry, categorical logic, and scientific computing to formulate, analyze, and simulate models in systems biology, genetics, and ecology. Beyond theoretical and computational output, it fosters collaboration among mathematics, computing, and biology and trains students and early-career researchers in an interdisciplinary frontier setting.&lt;/p&gt;
