Human-Computer Interaction | Artificial Intelligence | Mathematics Education
I hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Guanajuato, a master's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from UNAM, and a Ph.D. in Mathematics Education from CINVESTAV.
I design and evaluate human-centered interactive systems, particularly technologies that support mathematical exploration, reasoning, and learning. My early work focused on natural language processing and information extraction; I later designed and evaluated MEx, a web-based interactive environment aimed at fostering algebraic structure sense.
Research interests: Human-Computer Interaction, interactive systems, artificial intelligence, natural language processing, and mathematics education.
