My research area is algebraic topology. I am interested in homotopical group theory, H-spaces and equivariant homotopy invariants of spaces with group actions. For more details, click on the publications tab. My research is partially supported by the SEP-CONACYT Basic Science Project 242186: Homotopical aspects of compact Lie groups.

I organize the Algebraic Topology seminar at CIMAT Mérida. Contact me if you would like to participate.

Mario Velásquez and I are organizing the thematic session "Algebraic Topology" in the Meeting of mathematical societies of Colombia and Mexico to be held at Universidad del Norte in Barranquilla, Colombia, from May 30th to June 2nd, 2018.

Noé Bárcenas, Paulo Carrillo, Silvia Millán and I are organizing the CIMPA School Noncommutative Geometry and Index Theory to be held in Mérida, Mexico, from December 3rd to December 15th, 2018. More details coming soon.
