Energy and Data Analyst
Bravos is looking for highly motivated and analytical thinkers to join a team of engineers, mathematicians, economists, and data scientists to build next generation optimization models to forecast electricity prices in power markets.

Perfil:
Degree in Physics, Applied Mathematics, Pure Math, Chemical Engineering, Economics or other applicable areas. Master’s or PhD a huge plus.
Experience integrating data sources and the development of routines to assure data quality.
Experience designing database models (relational or otherwise) to store and interact with multiple raw and derived data sets.

Funciones principales:
As a Bravos analyst you will perform the following activities:
· Develop mathematical models to forecast prices in power markets.
· Design and implement algorithms to clean, standardize and integrate diverse sources of model input data (fuel prices, renewable resources, network models, demand, etc.) into our models.
· Monte Carlo simulations for risk and dispersion analysis.
· Design tools to visualize results
· Time-series analysis
